Discussion and possible action to approve the amended Independent Contractor Agreement by and between the Board of Oklahoma County Commissioners, on behalf of the Oklahoma County Clerk, and Jack Litteral Consulting, Inc. This amendment changes the contract from an amount not to exceed $10,000.00 to an amount not to exceed $20,000.00 for consulting services, to assist the County Clerk with duties related to all departments within, other county departments, and suppliers as needed at a rate of $125.00 per hour. Requisition No. 11303732, has been issued to Jack Litteral Consulting, Inc. in the amount of $10,000.00, from General Fund/County Clerk/Professional Services Other (1001/1700/54455), contingent upon encumbrance of funds. Pursuant to Title 25 O.S. 307 (B) (4) to engage in confidential communications between the public body and its attorney concerning status of all pending investigations, claims or actions, and where on advice of its attorney, the board has determined that public disclosure will seriously impair the ability of the public body to process the claims, or conduct pending investigations, litigations, or proceeding in the public interest.
c. Pursuant to Title 25 O.S. 307 (B) (4) to engage in confidential communications between the public body and its attorney concerning Case No. CIV-07-404-M, Hill v. Truelove, a pending investigation, claim or action, where on advice of its attorney, the board has determined that disclosure will seriously impair the ability of the public body to process the claim or conduct a pending investigation, litigation, or proceeding in the public interest.
