5.         Approve Workers  Compensation claim payments from Consolidated Benefits Resources in the amount of $5,548.02 for period ending February 29, 2012, pending notification of encumbrance to Donna Lovelace, County Treasurer's Office.   (Document Received)

 

6.         Approve Employee Benefit Trust Warrant No. 548019 through 548421 for Oklahoma County in the amount of $388,645.77 pending notification of encumbrance to Donna Lovelace, County Treasurer's Office.  (Document Received)

9.         Discussion and possible action to approve Resolution No.__________ disposing of equipment from the inventory of the Oklahoma County Treasurer.  This item is broken or obsolete, and is too costly to repair, and with the requested disposal will be junked in accordance with the provisions set forth in Title 19 Section 421.

10.       Discussion and possible action to approve Resolution No.___________ disposing of equipment from the inventory of Oklahoma County Emergency Management.  This item is broken or obsolete, and is too costly to repair, and with the requested disposal will be junked in accordance with the provisions set forth in Title 19 Section 421.

One (1) Cellular Telephone, c/n SP602-00308, s/n 13600069852, acquired 12/15/1989 from an unknown vendor for $399.00

 

11.       Discussion and possible action for approval of Resolution No. __________ designating Cecelia Spain as Receiving Officer for the Law Library replacing Corinna Patterson.  Requested by Venita Hoover, Director, Law Library.   (Document Received)

14.       Discussion and possible action to approve legal representation of Brian Maughan, in James L. Kalkbrenner v. Board of County Commissioners of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, et al, CIV-12-155 in his individual capacity.   Requested by Sandra Howell-Elliott, Assistant District Attorney.

 

Emergency Management

 

15.       Discussion and possible action to approve renewal of Agreement for Sub-Grant of Management Preparedness Grant Program Funds between the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and Oklahoma County to receive a portion of the funds awarded to the State of Oklahoma under the FEMA Emergency Management Preparedness Grant Program.   If approved, Oklahoma County Emergency Management is to receive $36,637.00 with payment made on a quarterly basis.  The Director of Oklahoma County Emergency Management shall be designated as agent for the sub-grant.  This Agreement shall commence upon approval of the Board and approval of State Emergency Management, and shall terminate September 30, 2012.  Requested by David Barnes, Director, and approved as to form and legality by Aaron Etherington, Assistant District Attorney.  (Document Received)

16.       Discussion and possible action to convey an Easement to the City of Oklahoma City by Oklahoma County for property located on S. Anderson Road, District No. 2, for the consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) as follows:

 

A strip, piece or parcel of land lying in the Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section Twenty-nine (29), Township Eleven (11) North, Range One (1) West in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.  Said parcel of land being described by metes and bounds as follows:

 

Commencing at the southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of said Section 29, thence North 00 47 39  West along said East Section Line a distance of 1,094.45 feet to a point; thence South 89 12 21  West a distance of 33.00 feet to a point on the existing Right-of-Way Line and said point being the Point of Beginning; thence South 89 11 58  West along the south property line a distance of 17.00 feet to a point; thence North 0 47 39  West and parallel to the east property line a distance of 280.73 feet to a point on the north property line; thence North 89 12 22  East along the north property line a distance of 17.00 feet to a point on the existing Right-of-Way line; thence South 0 47 39  East and along the existing Right-of-Way line a distance of 280.73 feet to the Point of Beginning.

 

Containing 0.110 acres or 4,772.44 square feet of new right-of-way for roadway and utility improvements.

a. Pursuant to Title 25 O.S.   307(b)(4) for confidential communications with Board s attorney for appointment of representative at trial currently scheduled to begin May 21, 2012, and to discuss Dionne A. McKinney v. John Whetsel, et al., Case No. CJ-2007-586.

 

b. Pursuant to 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(3) discussion concerning the possible purchase by OSU-OKC of certain real property described as an unplatted part of Section 36, T12N R4W, Oklahoma City, which is owned by Oklahoma County.

 

23.       Action regarding confidential communications with Board s attorney for appointment of representative at trial currently scheduled to begin May 21, 2012, and to discuss Dionne A. McKinney v. John Whetsel, et al., Case No. CJ-2007-586.
