Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse, Juvenile Justice Center

This is a part-time position. This position works 16-20 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays. Must be at least 21 years old to work with juveniles. Must have a telephone number where employee can be reached. Must ensure that a copy of current Oklahoma RN or LPN license is on file at all times. Provides professional nursing services and coordinates the health care services program provided for Detention Center residents and employees. Provides direction/supervision/coordination of all Detention Center employees involved in providing medical services to residents. Works along with Facility Registered Nurse to obtain and maintain individual health/medical records, including information from parents and/or guardians and health care personnel outside the facility. Administers first aid and other medical care within the limitations of his/her qualifications. Works with related agencies in the interest of the child's medical well-being. Related experience is preferred.
