Description

Primarily responsible for filing and retrieving current and recent documents and files relevant to civil court cases to include small claims, special courts, civil jury, appeals, divorce, probate and licenses. The incumbent is often required to file and retrieve older criminal files pertaining to victims protection orders, felonies, and misdemeanors. The incumbent will also be responsible for assisting customers at the counter. This requires the ability to communicate effectively with the customers and coworkers in the civil division. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for complete computer searches for relevant information identifiable with either plaintiff or defendant. Experience

Previous education or training of a general office, clerical nature. Must be computer literate with data base system or become computer literate within 90 days. Must have some knowledge of county government, and particularly the County Court Clerks Office. NOTE: An official Oklahoma County application for employment must be completed and submitted to the Oklahoma County Clerks Office no later than 4:00 PM, March 14, 2019.
