Experienced equipment operation with respect to grading, drainage, sub grade preparation, and paving. Should be familiar with and have experience in asphalt paving and the operation of equipment dealing with asphalt specific areas. Operates heavy-duty construction and maintenance equipment, such as asphalt paver, bulldozers, motor graders, large rollers, front-end loaders, heavy mowing equipment, boom ax, crane, excavator and other equipment with complex operating requirements. Work involves responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of specialized excavating, hoisting, oil spreading and other construction equipment. The operation of this equipment entails considerable manipulative difficulty and employees are responsible for the safety of other workers who assist with work performed. Motor Grader experience is a plus

• One (1) year minimum experience or combination of education and experience.• Experience with asphalt/lay down machine and asphalt process is highly desired.• Valid Oklahoma State Class Commercial Driver’s License A *highly desired, or able to obtain within first 90 days of employment.• Clean driving record.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).additional certificate in technical training school.
